GrandArmy worked with National Geographic and Sandbox Films to develop key art for Fire of Love, an extraordinary documentary telling the love story of intrepid French scientists Katia and Maurice Krafft, who died capturing the most spectacular volcano imagery ever recorded.

Since being acquired by National Geographic after its triumphant 2022 Sundance debut, Fire of Love has gone on to collect many prestigious reviews and awards in tandem with its worldwide festival and theater releases.

NPR Network

After more than fifty years as an authority in the world of independent news and media, NPR is uniting their journalists, Member Stations, and programs nationwide under one initiative, known as the NPR Network.

NPR approached GrandArmy with the mission to create an identity and brand voice that would stand the test of time, encourage people to listen, and donate to their cause. But through a larger lens, the NPR Network aims to protect independent journalism as a whole.

We are honored to partner with NPR, as they take the next steps in their ever-growing brand story and launch into the future of news and broadcast entertainment. GrandArmy worked closely with the NPR Network brand to create a refined new logo and visual identity, robust brand messaging, the brand’s first-ever mnemonic audio logo, campaign film, and social media rollout.

Vrtl Hug is a collection of quality hoodies designed with longevity in mind. Their mission focuses on empathy and environmental responsibilty, targeted toward a younger audience of students and young professionals working from home.

The Vrtl Hug identity reflects the minimalist lifestyle of intentional apparel consumption. The typeface and logo are clean and sophisticated yet feature slightly rounded corners, mimicking the comfort of the clothing and the approachability of the Vrtl Hug community.
